I have the ridgid r4511 granite top table saw and love it.
I have a hard to find rigid 10 table saw with a 1 1 2 thick granite table top.

Pros granite top is uberflat.
Once the wing is aligned lock it to the table top with 3 bolts.
The saw can cut up to 3 5 16 inches at 90 degrees and 2 1 4 inches at 45 giving you plenty of room to rip through thick boards.
1 1 2 h p it is great for precision cutting and fabrication i bought it in los angeles new and have used it only about 10 hours.
I would not use it as an anvil nor would i use a cast iron top as an anvil.
It was not too hard to assemble using some common sense more than the owner s manual.
Mine is a very nice example that i purchased used.
Make sure while you re aligning the wings to keep some distance between the wings and the main table top as changing the angles when they butt against one another will put sheer force on the granite and might chip it off as happened to someone else.
