Revit roof by wall.
Select the wall type and constraints for a dormer that will be added to a roof.
Select the attach top base tool and then click the roof to attach the wall to the roof.
If desired set the lines of the second roof to be slope defining except the roof line that will be coincident with the first roof or the wall.
Add a dormer to a roof and use the dormer opening tool to cut the opening for it.
Roof by footprint can be used for both flat and sloped pitched roofs.
The defines roof slope parameter allows you to toggle which parts of your roof are inclined.
Click the green check to complete the opening.
This happens to your wall it forms into the shape of the roof to cover the gap.

But i want it to end at the roof where i painted the red line.
Create a dormer opening.
After you sketch walls and a roof for your design sketch another roof that you want to join to the original roof.
Then choose attach top base 2 and finally select the roof 3.

Sketch mode is used to allow you to define the boundary of your roof.
Create the roof opening and finish the dormer.
Create the dormer roof and join it to the main roof.
My problem ist that when i make a section the outer wall goes into the roof.
Now select one of or all the walls you that want to attach to the bottom of the roof and mould into the roof s shape.
